Power Market Update | 10.02.24

Warmer temperatures leave some of the Western U.S. feeling like summer as the East Coast prepares for fall weather with electricity demand declining toward seasonal lows.

Electricity demand is trending lower across all major markets as the calendar rolls to October with some areas in the Western half of the U.S. seeing lingering heat - in some cases extreme heat - that is delaying seasonal minimum power loads.
