Power Market Update | 11.13.2024

Temperature forecasts show signs of cooling weather while Texas sees weekend price volatility amid very low wind.

The very mild weather blanketing much of the Eastern U.S. looks to be fading as near-term forecasts point to a shift in temperature patterns.

Meanwhile in Texas, the ERCOT power market experienced a bout of extreme real-time electricity pricing as the wind stopped blowing and the sun set while load was still high.
