Power Market Update | 07.24.2024

Most of the U.S. is enjoying a break in the heat, but forecasts point to more heat on the way in August.

Most of the country is getting a break from the extreme heat and elevated power loads seen earlier in July, but the outlook for August suggests summer is not over yet.

Meanwhile, the wind has died down and wind generation with it causing some volatility in ERCOT.
