Natural gas futures declined for a second straight week, with November settling just above $3 per MMBtu on Friday after briefly dipping below that level midweek. Storage rose 80 Bcf, broadly in line with expectations, keeping inventories comfortable ahead of winter. Production increased to above 108 Bcf per day, while LNG exports surged to unprecedented levels as Cove Point returned from maintenance and Plaquemines ramped output. Weather remains mild for now, but early winter forecasts are trending cooler than last year, hinting at potential upside risk later in the season.
