Prices were lower again this week surrounding the August 2024 contract expiration on Monday. Market participants shrugged off the return of widespread heat late in the week due to near-term forecasts showing cooler weather coming back into key markets in mid-August. The official announcement on Friday of the delay of Golden Pass LNG had little market impact.
