NYMEX natural gas prices finished lower this week, snapping a two-week streak of gains amid bearish near-term fundamental conditions. The front of the forward curve has reset back to levels last seen at the end of April, while deferred contracts are holding near winter highs. Storage injections have been robust so far this season, but domestic production is on a plateau, fueling concerns about storage growth during the peak summer months.
