Natural gas futures pulled back off of the weekly highs even as the market anticipates the most significant cold so far this season. Temperatures near the end of the holiday weekend are expected to plunge across most of the U.S., leading to the highest naturalg as demand of the winter to date. Domestic production could be impacted by freeze-offs, just as demand spikes. Storage inventories are poised to be drawn down at a rapid pace surrounding the event.
