Natural gas futures are back on the upswing this week as volatility continues. With cold weather looking like it will stick around for most of January, storage inventories are set for a stretch of elevated drawdowns. Production has been impacted modestly, with about 3 Bcf per day of volumes coming offline since last week, while LNG exports continue at a record pace above 15 Bcf per day.
