• Natural gas futures were little changed last week, with July expiring near the top of the recent range at $3.231 per MMBtu -- the highest NYMEX expiry since February.

• The EIA reported a 76-Bcf storage injection, keeping inventories comfortably above the five-year average while widening the deficit versus last year.

• Net supply continues to run well behind year-ago levels, as production remains strong but stagnant and LNG export demand continues to recover from spring maintenance.

• ERCOT peak loads neared historic highs last week, but real-time prices remained contained as solar and battery output helped limit scarcity pricing.
