Futures pricing mixed as the natural gas market remains resilient.
- Natural gas futures were mixed last week, with a late rally pushing the May 2025 contract into positive territory, but the Summer 2025 and Winter 2025-26 strips each posted small losses
- Electricity forwards were down sharply across the board, with Around-the-Clock contracts giving up a portion of recent gains
- Natural gas storage levels increased by 37 Bcf during the week ended March 21, continuing the early start to injection season and cutting into the deficit
- Spot natural gas and power prices were mostly higher as weather-related demand experienced as slight uptick from the previous week
