Natural Gas Storage: -12 Bcf

EIA reports another small storage draw for the final full week of November.

The U.S. Energy Information Administration reported a weekly withdrawal of 12 Billion Cubic Feet (Bcf) in Lower 48 natural gas storage inventories for the week ending November 28, 2025 (Link).  Total inventories now stand at 3,923 Bcf, 18 Bcf (0.5%) below year-ago levels and 191 Bcf (5.1%) above the 2020-2024 average for the same week.

Storage inventories posted another net withdrawal last week, with stocks declining by 12 Bcf, according to this morning’s EIA report. The draw was bearish in comparison to historical benchmarks, with inventories gaining ground on both last year and the five-year average. The five-year average change for the same week is a much steeper 43-Bcf draw, while the year-ago period saw inventories fall by 26 Bcf. After this week’s modest reduction, storage remains in a comfortable position heading into the heart of early-season cold, though the coming weeks are likely to feature materially larger withdrawals.
