Today’s storage report showed a net injection of 101 Bcf for the week ended May 15. This marks the second-largest build of the season so far, trailing only the 103-Bcf addition recorded four weeks prior. Storage inventories continued to grow at a faster pace than the five-year average while losing ground to year-ago levels. During the same week in 2025, inventories grew by 119 Bcf, meaning the surplus to that benchmark narrowed by 18 Bcf to its lowest point since February.
